The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of business analysts and user experience analysts to envision and create a world class digital eCommerce experience for our customers.
Leads efforts to evolve search and browse paths, product pages, checkout flow, quoting and other key experiences within ecommerce platform.
Understands customer needs and expectations through customer journey mapping, personal development, ethnographic studies and field visits and recommends a digital roadmap to help execute strategic goals.
Leads visioning and execution of overall eCommerce digital experience through deep understanding of Hybris and Endeca, including upcoming enhancements from future versions, and recommends a “build vs. upgrade” strategy.
Leads discussions with eCommerce PMO, content team, commercial services, digital marketing and others to distill business requirements such as user stories, and UX deliverables such as wireframes and user flows.
Leads efforts to identify and develop third party vendor selection based on digital roadmap and requirements, including initial research and identification, selection, and contributing to contractual discussions.
Through user experience (UX) studies and research efforts such as user testing, surveys, and focus groups, acts as a customer advocate and recommends new platform features through understanding of customers and their responsibilities.
Keeps abreast of external digital landscape, including annual competitive studies, targeted competitive analysis, industry trends and digital developments in other market segments.
Leads, through Agile methodologies, collaborative efforts through all phases of the system development life cycle (SDLC), including requirements gathering and tactical user experience activities.
Oversees delivery and quality of requirements, user stories and other artifacts works with business analyst and user experience staff, and eCommerce PMO, to evolve artifacts.
Participates in Sprint planning, daily scrums, discovery meetings and other projects touchpoints.
Provides thought leadership regarding digital product organizations, including staffing, skillsets, emerging disciplines and competitive hiring landscape.
Creates and maintains a culture of open communication, creative collaboration, mutual respect and productive behaviors. Hires, trains and retains top tier talent and mentors team members to new and fulfilling career experiences.
Establishes relationships with key PMO, IT, QA and other corporate partners and regularly communicates and collaborates accordingly while working on cross-functional projects.
Business analyst, user experience, project management or similar role in digital eCommerce field - 10 years required 12 years preferred
Managing a staff in eCommerce roles - 3 years required 4 years preferred
Human resources and career processes such as evaluating performance, setting goals and objectives, coaching and tactical activities related to managing a team - 3 years required 5 years preferred.
B2B/B2C eCommerce - 6 years required 8 years preferred.
Hybris eCommerce platform - 3 years required 4 years preferred
Endeca search and browse platform - 3 years required 4 years preferred
All digital channels, including web, mobile, apps and social experience with scanning and mobility solutions - 5 years required 7 years preferred
