The target location for this role is Charlotte, NC however other core locations such as Phoenix AZ, Des Moines IA or Minneapolis MN may be considered. NY and San Fran are not in scope for this role.
 
As part of our Enterprise Information Technology Group, the Auto Services Technology Leader / Tech Development Sr. Mgr. 2 (TDSM2) is an executive-level role responsible for directing and controlling all application development activities, project analysis/management, and production support efforts for multiple, complex applications. The systems for which the position is accountable houses a significant portion of the bank’s balance sheet assets.

This role is accountable for:
  • Assuring systems function appropriately to enable our Auto Services to implement their strategies to manage growth, operate at increasing efficiencies, and manage regulatory change.
  • This person will play an immense role in the alignment of business strategy with IT strategy and will assess the impact of new and emerging technology.
  • The scope includes leading technology strategic roadmap discussions, automation and most importantly, risk and regulatory compliance of managed applications.
  • This leader will manage an overall team of 200+ and continue workforce and location strategy build out.
Requirements:
This is an executive-level position with significant leadership, IT transformation and people-management responsibilities.
  • Demonstrated executive-level experience leading enterprise technology functions within consumer lending (with auto experience highly preferred) is crucial.
  • Knowledge of the large, complex lending ecosystem (auto, home, etc.) and related technologies, compliance and risk requirements at a relevant scale are major considerations.
