Our Enterprise Technology Infrastructure (ETI) team is responsible for enterprise-wide infrastructure services across the global footprint, including networking, production services, storage, data centers, mainframe, mid-range and Cloud-based systems, distributed systems and international infrastructure. 

The Infrastructure Architecture Leader / Managing Systems Architect 2 (MSA2) is an executive-level leadership role, account for driving the infrastructure technology road-map, creating vision, strategy and designing how our company will work in the future. This leader will serve as the internal advisor and partner on a wide variety of technology and system infrastructure opportunities for the line of business CIOs/CTOs and other Enterprise Partners and must be capable of assessing a complex and growing global platform. This leader should have the appropriate business/technical maturity and intellect to appropriately challenge the status quo and future strategy, and bring forward new ideas.

Must-haves for this role include:
  • 12+ years of architectural design and planning experience with the ability to lead and manage key senior architects and managing architects
  • Leadership in a converged technology ecosystem, with deep knowledge on traditional infrastructure platforms (Hosting, Network, Data Center) but also current state architectures such as Cloud (Public, Private and Hybrid), Containers and Software Defined Data Centers.
  • Demonstrated architectural experience with multiple technical disciplines, including storage, network, compute, voice, video and application development, across lines of business or entire infrastructure domains
  • Ability to effectively communicate, influence and build relationships across a wide audience of business leaders, technical professionals, third party partners, and regulatory entities as needed.
  • The ideal candidate is an established visionary leader with the personal and professional skills to direct both complexity and ambiguity in an environment similar in scale and complexity of our company. 

Success in the role would include continuous improvement and maturing the infrastructure and architecture discipline, ensuring a stellar record of availability (Infrastructure) for the business, influencing the Enterprise Architecture Partners regarding Governance and providing strategic technical leadership as the needs of the business evolve.

Additionally success measures would include fostering and leveraging the appropriate strategic external partnerships, providing thought leadership, and maintaining the appropriate Infrastructure standards needed to ensure all regulatory requirements are met or exceeded.
