Event Registration Team Member (Temp)

Position Overview
We’re seeking friendly, detail-oriented individuals to join our team for an upcoming event. As an Event Registration Team Member, you’ll be the first point of contact for attendees, ensuring a smooth check-in process and helping create a positive first impression.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Setup & Teardown

    • Arrange tables, signage, and laptops in the registration room before the event begins.

    • Pack up equipment, clear the area, and ensure nothing is left behind once the event concludes.

  2. Attendee Check-In

    • Greet attendees warmly and confirm registrations using laptops.

    • Troubleshoot any ticketing or badge-printing issues on the spot.

  3. Materials Distribution

    • Hand out event tickets and branded goodie bags.

    • Keep inventory of tickets and bags, alerting the Event Manager if supplies run low.

  4. Raffle Coordination

    • Pull and verify raffle tickets.

    • Announce winners (if in-person) and coordinate prize pick-up.

Skill Set & Qualifications

  • Physical Ability: Capable of lifting and carrying up to 25 lbs (e.g., boxes of materials).

  • Technical Proficiency: Comfortable using laptops and registration software at an intermediate level—able to troubleshoot minor issues without hand-holding.

  • Efficiency Under Pressure: Thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment; able to multitask when lines form.

  • Customer Service: Pleasant, professional demeanor; excellent verbal communication and problem-solving; able to remain calm under stress.
