A Global Software / Services company utilizing drone technology to provide Data / Analytic solutions is recruiting a Sales Director for their National Energy vertical. This is a hunting sales role.
The ideal individual will have experience selling complex solutions and services to the Renewable Energy sectors: Specifically Wind and/or Solar Farms (Must have)
Some experience in Drone technology and Data Analytics knowledge, is required.
This is an International position and the Director will target large-scale wind and solar farms in North America and Europe.
RESPONSIBILITIES
·Own and manage the sales cycle, from qualification to closing
·Identify and pursue new opportunities
·Develop / implement go-to-market strategies
·Lead the proposal process
·Articulate the company’s specific technical and commercial solutions
·Uncover customer pain points and potential optimization opportunities
·Plan and deliver hands-on product demonstrations, including flying drones!
·Inform the product management and technical teams on market requirements
·Collaborate with project teams to ensure all deliverables meet customer needs.
REQUIREMENTS
·5+ years of proven, direct sales experience within the renewable energy sector
·Track record of selling to large-scale solar / wind farm customers.
·Must have a deep understanding of the solar and wind farm ecosystem
·Must have a "hunter" mindset with passion / enthusiasm to identify and close business
·Have an ability to navigate complex customer environments
N. America, near a major airport, with a willingness to travel
