The Site Leader is responsible for the direction, strategy, planning, and execution for all manufacturing operations, including supply chain (purchasing, materials management), fabrication, production, assembly, safety, quality assurance, maintenance, and continuous improvement in our Marlborough facility. This 100+ employee facility is ISO-9001, AS-9100, and 1 of 16 Class K facilities in the United States. The Site Leader is directly responsible for executing to meet revenue and cost targets for the site. The successful candidate will partner with employees on cross-functional teams to execute the financial and operational commitments of the business.

- Set goals, monitor work, and evaluate results to ensure that organizational objectives and operating requirements are met; responsible for overall site performance for Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost and Inventory.
- Review operating results, evaluate progress of the facility, and control expenses related to budgets and capital. Responsible for achieving all key performance indicators (KPI's) set by Director/VP Operations.
- Responsible for the deployment and execution of the continuous improvement roadmap utilizing the API Business Systems (ABS).
- Actively participate in the Sales, Inventory, Operations, and Planning (SIOP) process
- Actively participates in design reviews, technical reviews and program meetings ensuring that manufacturing knowledge, process capability and capacity needs are being shared, considered and acted on by the program teams.
- Develop and manage budgeting and budget execution with a focus on product costs and margins. Coordinate with other functional and business units as needed.
- Establish teams to identify, target, quantify and reduce waste throughout the organization. Analyze operations to evaluate performance and determine areas of potential cost reduction, program improvement, or policy change.
- Ensures safety, environmental and overall compliance is achieved throughout the plant.
- Responsible for communicating concise and comprehensive manufacturing status and priorities to the API leadership and program team.
- Drive employee engagement, training and development to maximize safety, quality, and productivity
Directly supervises up to 10 Full-time Equivalent (FTE) regular employees and/or contractors.

Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Degree(s) in Management, Manufacturing, or similar discipline AND
- 7 years’ experience in manufacturing operations role with increasing responsibility, OR
- Equivalent combination of education and experience
Certificates and Licenses: None required.
OTHER REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Financial analysis experience to include an understanding of cost structures and basic knowledge of cost accounting principles. Ability to work with balance sheets, profit/loss statements, and financial statements / reports.
- Manufacturing experience with a focus on continuous improvement and lean manufacturing principles
- Manufacturing experience with a particular sensitivity to scheduling and logistics
- Exceptional written, verbal, interpersonal and presentation skills
- Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, etc.); Web proficiency.
- Strong organizational skills; managing many diverse projects with different deadlines and priorities
- Exhibit a sense of urgency and independent initiative toward accomplishing objectives
- Strong leadership skills and ability to lead cross-functional teams
- Strong background and proven record of driving improvement utilizing lean and / or six sigma methodologies.
- Proven ability to deliver results through others, both direct and matrixed. Proven ability to lead, develop, motivate and hold others accountable.
