Electrical Engineer IICarrolton, GA
Education, Experience, and Skills:
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the smooth operation of the Rod Mill facility.
- Conduct regular assessments and inspections of electrical systems, machinery, and equipment to identify potential maintenance needs or areas for improvement.
- Utilize analytical skills to troubleshoot electrical failures, determine root causes, and implement effective corrective measures.
- Collaborate with maintenance teams to plan and execute electrical maintenance, repair, and upgrade projects, ensuring minimal disruption to production schedules.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance strategies for electrical systems and components to enhance equipment reliability and extend operational lifetimes.
- Analyze electrical performance data to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for efficiency improvements and energy savings.
- Participate in the design and implementation of new electrical systems, installations, and modifications, ensuring alignment with safety standards.
- Maintain accurate documentation of electrical maintenance activities, modifications, and repairs for regulatory compliance and informed decision-making.
- Stay current with industry trends and advancements in electrical engineering to propose innovative solutions and drive continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with diverse teams to communicate technical information, provide expertise, and contribute to a collaborative work environment.
- 3 yrs experience
- Bachelors Degree-Electrical Engineering
- Preference in SAP, SCADA, PLC/Logic programming, Siemens and Rockwell preferred.
- Rod Mill operations and Compounding experience.
